This policy ensures that all donations and sponsorships received by NGF are managed ethically, transparently, and in compliance with South African legislation and international best practices.

4. Guiding Principles
- Transparency — all donations documented and reported
- Accountability — funds applied only to approved purposes
- Ethics — NGF may decline funds that contradict our mission (e.g., human-rights abuses, corruption, harmful industries)
- Compliance — donor conditions honoured where lawful and consistent with our constitution
- Sustainability — support long-term impact
5. Use of Funds
- Education, youth development, food security, health & wellness, women empowerment
- Community and volunteer capacity building
- Operational and compliance costs directly related to delivering impact
6. Reporting & Auditing
Annual audited financial statements are shared with regulators and available to donors on request. s18A certificates are issued to qualifying donors as per SARS rules. Sponsorship agreements include clear deliverables and reporting.
7. Anti-Corruption & AML
NGF will not accept funds where there is evidence or suspicion of money-laundering (FICA), bribery/corruption (Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act 12 of 2004), or terrorist financing (aligned with FATF).
8. Recognition
Public acknowledgement may be given unless anonymity is requested. Recognition complies with donor wishes, POPIA, and NGF branding.
